On-Site Business Health Nursing

As part of our commitment to help industries maintain employee health and safety, Lakeland now offers on-site Business Health Nursing. Our program offers employers the expertise of a registered nurse who is specially trained in Business Health concerns, as well as the convenience of having them located right at your work site.

An on-site occupational health program is a valuable benefit to your employees that can also save your company money.  Studies have shown an on-site nurse reduces absenteeism, lessens the amount of time and money spent on doctor visits, and decreases medical and worker's compensation claims and expenses. An on-site nurse will encourage employees to accept responsibility for their own health and well being by offering counseling and access to educational resources.  Employees perceive an on-site nurse as an indication of the company's ongoing concern for them and their health.

The following services fall within the scope of the on-site Business Health Nurse:

  • On-site treatment of minor illnesses and injuries
  • Triage and emergency care
  • Referrals to appropriate physician or health provider when needed
