Meridian is notifying our network of a new program offering to their Ambetter members.
These letters are being sent out to the Ambetter providers (please review the attachment below). Some key information is below:
Dear Providers,
Effective January 1, 2023, select Ambetter providers will be able to participate in the new Ambetter Virtual Access provider network within Michigan. Ambetter Virtual Access features a PCP-centric Network, where members are automatically assigned to a Virtual Teladoc PCP, and these providers can either provide treatment to members or issue a referral to other in-network providers. No action is required as current network participation agreements with Ambetter grant selected providers automatic participation. A letter on the new Ambetter Virtual Access provider network has been mailed out to selected providers with additional information and providers may be receiving referrals or be selected as a PCP by an Ambetter Virtual Access Member.
